Welcome to 30dayjourneys!

My life long goal is to live a life of meaning, to look back on each day and feel that I have done my best. This isn't always easy! I have realized that creating new habits that help me do my best, is key. Creating new habits isn't always easy, but I have found that if I dedicate myself to sticking to a new habit for at least 30 days, it leads to creating a lasting habit.

Each habit I create is a journey toward a goal I want to accomplish. Some of my main goals are raising my kids, homeschooling them, having a successful career, maintaining a healthy relationship with my partner, creating and maintaining lifelong friendships, and living a life that is more sustainable and environmentally conscience. This often feels like a lot and can be very overwhelming. Sometimes, all I want to do is turn on the t.v. and ignore my responsibilities. At the times when I have given in to this, I don't feel better or recharged, I feel like I have wasted precious time. It is super important to take time to relax, but in a more intentional way (more on that and self care later!).

So basically, this is me documenting my journey to create more intentional and positive habits, that will help make me healthier and happier. Hopefully, I can inspire others to make the changes they dream of and turn their dreams into plans!
